Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Android development tooling, including simulator setup, device orchestration, and CLI developer tools.
- Develop and enhance mobile test automation frameworks for synthetic and integration testing on Android.
- Design and implement CI/CD quality gates using automated tests to detect regressions.
- Collaborate with Native Infra, Cross Platform, DevX, Mobile Platform, and product teams to unify mobile workflows.
- Define and codify mobile testing best practices, triage workflows, monitoring, and quality strategy.
- Share knowledge across mobile teams and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Strong foundations in computer science and software engineering practices.
- Proven expertise in modern Android development, including Kotlin, concurrency, and reactive programming.
- Experience with cross-platform testing frameworks and test automation patterns.
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems, build pipelines, and mobile development tooling such as Fastlane and Gradle.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, or developer tools at scale is desired.
- Experience with device farm solutions such as BrowserStack is a plus.
- Familiarity with cross-platform or hybrid approaches such as React Native and web-to-native bridges is a plus.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, develop independent technical solutions, and write reusable, testable code.
