Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade LLM applications, RAG solutions, and tool-using AI agents for forecasting, planning, and scheduling.
- Develop retrieval pipelines involving ingestion, chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, grounding, and citations.
- Build maintainable Python services, APIs, and reusable AI components and deploy and operate them in production.
- Create evaluation datasets, automated tests, monitoring, and observability for quality, safety, latency, cost, drift, and failures.
- Apply responsible AI, governance, security, and human-in-the-loop controls throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, planners, schedulers, and other end users.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish reusable production patterns based on measurable business value, quality, and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI, including hands-on Python, SQL, and LLM or agent application development or deployment.
- Experience building maintainable production services and APIs, with automated testing, Git workflows, code reviews, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Experience defining measurable quality criteria and evaluating AI/ML systems through quantitative metrics and structured human review.
- Ability to collaborate with software engineering teams and business users to move solutions from concept to production.
- Demonstrated experience engaging directly with end users to shape and validate AI solutions.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions and communicate results to non-technical partners.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, expertise in LLM application architectures and retrieval pipelines, production LLM or agent deployment, AI observability, adversarial security testing, GCP, vector databases, model hosting, and automotive or supply-chain domain knowledge.
