Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core platform services for AI systems and developer workflows.
- Design and implement authentication, authorization, secrets management, and access control systems.
- Create infrastructure that operates reliably across regions with disaster recovery capabilities.
- Enhance observability, monitoring, and operational tooling for production systems.
- Develop internal platforms that enable product engineers to work efficiently without compromising security.
- Collaborate with AI and product engineering teams to support model training and inference infrastructure.
- Identify and eliminate systemic operational, security, and reliability risks.
- Own projects from architecture through to production rollout.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software, backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a history of shipping production systems.
- Experience in building security-sensitive systems, including authentication and authorization.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, containers, networking, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing platforms or tooling that other engineers depend on.
- Ability to move from concept to production deployment with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated high ownership and strong engineering judgment.
- Daily coding experience and a desire to continue writing code.
