Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to improve testing frameworks and implement testing best practices across projects.
- Build and maintain Playwright end-to-end automated test suites.
- Author GitHub CI/CD pipelines with test gates for pull request, merge, and release triggers.
- Apply test-design techniques including equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, decision tables, and exploratory testing.
- Apply agentic AI and workflow automation to testing processes.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Manage, coordinate, and mentor team members and support cross-functional alignment of testing objectives with business goals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in automated testing.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong TypeScript experience preferred, or JavaScript experience, with clean automation code and solid async/await patterns.
- Practical experience applying agentic AI and workflow automation to testing workflows.
- Experience authoring GitHub and CI/CD pipelines with automated test gates.
- Knowledge of structured test-design techniques and active participation in Agile sprint ceremonies, refinement, and Definition of Done.
- Playwright MCP, Squash TM, financial services, securities trading, order lifecycle, market data, or FIX protocol experience is preferred.
