Responsibilities
- Own Krea’s backend systems from design through production operation
- Work across the SvelteKit application, Postgres, Redis, ClickHouse, Python ML inference services, and Kubernetes clusters
- Build durable execution systems for long-running workflows, including state machines, idempotency, and retry semantics
- Improve the public API and create well-documented OpenAPI documentation from Zod schemas
- Develop enterprise features including ACLs, audit logs, and entitlements
- Operate production systems across multiple cloud and GPU providers
Requirements
- Experience owning real production systems end-to-end, including design, monitoring, metrics, and incidents; ideally 4–8 years of experience
- Comfort working across the stack and with unfamiliar code
- Strong opinions and judgment about architecting scalable systems
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently without extensive product-management guidance
