Responsibilities
- Design and govern scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS cloud architectures for enterprise applications.
- Define AWS DevOps deployment strategies, automation patterns, reusable templates, and infrastructure-as-code provisioning workflows.
- Design and configure AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeCommit, and AWS CodeBuild workflows for build, testing, source control, and deployment.
- Conduct AWS Well-Architected reviews, technical design assessments, remediation planning, and architectural governance.
- Support legacy-system migration, cloud landing-zone planning, modernization, and adoption of cloud-native patterns.
- Define monitoring, logging, backup, incident-response, and operational-excellence strategies for production workloads.
- Document architectural decisions, reference patterns, and best practices for engineering teams.
- Coordinate distributed stakeholders, workshops, deep-dive sessions, and occasional customer or partner meetings.
Requirements
- 12–16 years of overall technology experience, including substantial experience designing and delivering complex cloud solutions as a senior architect or equivalent technical professional.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS DevOps capabilities, including pipelines, automation, testing, integration, and release processes in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Deep working knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Advanced experience configuring and optimizing AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeCommit, and AWS CodeBuild.
- Experience working in hybrid environments and coordinating distributed teams across time zones.
- Strong cloud security, performance optimization, and cost-management skills with awareness of regulatory and budget constraints.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, trade-off evaluation, and stakeholder-guidance abilities.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification preferred.
