Responsibilities
- Develop, test, automate, and maintain cloud-based software solutions.
- Design and implement managed Cloud Services based on requirements.
- Design and develop solutions involving block and file technologies.
- Implement REST APIs and work with container-based technologies and cloud service APIs.
- Monitor and improve system health, availability, latency, performance, and reliability.
- Work on development, bug fixes, updates, specification updates, customer root-cause analyses, and automation.
- Participate in incident management and 24/7 on-call rotations to resolve production issues within agreed SLAs and SLOs.
Requirements
- Proficient coding, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing software solutions for block and file technologies.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Golang, or Python.
- Thorough understanding of Linux or other Unix-like operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Expertise in REST API design and implementation.
- Understanding of container-based technologies, preferably Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with cloud service APIs such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
- Knowledge of infrastructure including hypervisors, cloud storage, databases, caching, object and block storage, scaling, monitoring, load balancers, and networking is advantageous.
- Typically at least 5 years of related experience for an individual contributor role.
