Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms for robot dynamics, trajectory control, motion planning, and collision avoidance.
  • Design, develop, and test algorithms for robotic manipulation, picking, and material-handling tasks.
  • Build highly concurrent and performance-critical software systems.
  • Implement and optimize real-time communication modules with robot controllers and peripheral devices using C/C++.
  • Address technical challenges in motion planning, control, and industrial robotic system design.
  • Collaborate with project management and integration teams to support proof-of-concept projects and customer deployments.

Requirements

  • Academic background in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of academic or industry experience in robotics or software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Solid understanding of linear algebra and 3D geometry applied to robotics.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
  • Motivation to solve real-world robotics problems.
  • Business-level English or Japanese skills.
  • Preferred: experience with concurrent or hierarchical robotic software stacks such as ROS, OpenRAVE, or custom frameworks.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with multi-joint robot hardware and advanced Linux skills.
  • Preferred: mathematical foundations in multibody dynamics, collision checking, graph/search algorithms, or optimization.
