Responsibilities

  • Execute complex software development tasks while adhering to coding standards.
  • Solve complex technical problems independently with minimal guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to critical software components.
  • Build and support cloud-native Java microservices using distributed messaging, databases, APIs, caching, containers, and Kubernetes deployment tools.
  • Perform Java performance tuning, debugging, and memory profiling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of Java development experience.
  • Experience with Java 21, Kafka or JMS, multithreaded development, and advanced design patterns.
  • Experience with Spring Framework 6.x, Spring Boot 3.x, reactive programming, and Spring AOP.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL, MyBatis, JPA, microservices architecture, API gateway patterns, and service discovery.
  • Knowledge of JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Boot Test, RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Experience with Redis, Hazelcast, event-driven architecture, AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building cloud-native microservices using Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Argo CD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and Java performance tuning, debugging, and memory profiling expertise.
  • Experience with Claude Code and Cursor is advantageous; frontend experience with React or Ext JS, financial markets interest, and open-source contributions are also advantages.
