Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of customers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish design, development, and operational standards.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and improve performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and evaluate emerging tools and practices.
- Develop automated workflows that replace legacy or manual operational processes.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to cross-functional engineering initiatives and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding in multiple listed languages, database and cloud experience, open-source contributions, front-end framework experience, API development, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, and observability.
- Preferred experience includes AI-based coding tools, mentoring engineers, leading large-scale initiatives, establishing coding standards, building data pipelines or analytics systems, redesigning workflows, creating technical roadmaps, and automating manual processes.
