Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions across APIs, services, web applications, and relational databases.
  • Develop, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code using secure coding, peer review, and automated testing practices.
  • Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
  • Identify and automate recurring remediation opportunities to improve application and system operational stability.
  • Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams concerning architecture, technical capabilities, and integration suitability.
  • Build and enhance capabilities for the ACBS Loan Servicing platform, CLS API, and Servicing Portal.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Strong backend development experience with C# and/or VB.NET, including API and service development.
  • Experience leading responsible use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Strong SQL Server T-SQL skills, relational data modeling, query optimization, and indexing experience.
  • Frontend and web development experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and exposure to Oracle.
  • Understanding of the ACBS Loan Servicing platform, servicing concepts, integration patterns, and operational considerations.
  • Experience delivering APIs and web experiences for the CLS API and Servicing Portal.
  • Preferred: deep experience with enterprise loan servicing platforms such as ACBS, DB2 experience, financial services knowledge, and experience in regulated environments with risk management, controls, and auditability.
