Responsibilities
- Build a secure, scalable, recoverable, and cost-effective cloud platform using Kubernetes in AWS.
- Develop and evolve Kubernetes operators and other cloud-native automation.
- Build tools that enable engineering teams to create and maintain cloud resources autonomously.
- Deliver secure products and DevSecOps integrations supporting security and compliance.
- Improve observability, reliability, and cost awareness.
- Support engineering teams using platform products and tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD tools and services.
- Keep Kubernetes clusters highly available and reliable.
- Contribute to documentation, including user guides, configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Define standards, RFCs, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven technical expertise in AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, and software engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
- Comprehensive understanding of observability systems.
- Experience with operator-managed Infrastructure as Code, preferably Crossplane or Kubernetes Operators.
- Ability to write production software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience solving complex problems.
- Deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Prior experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and containers is mandatory.
- CNCF Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKS, or CKAD are a plus.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
