Base Salary
$168k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own substantial product features from conception through production.
- Work directly with customers to understand needs and translate complex problems into technical solutions.
- Design scalable architectures and ship reliable code that improves compliance operations.
- Develop interfaces for case management, reporting, and analytics.
- Build document analysis and verification systems.
- Build agentic workflows that coordinate AI tools and data services for research, enrichment, and verification while keeping humans involved in review.
- Create tools for configuring and customizing customer compliance workflows.
- Influence product direction and iterate based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building production software for the Engineer level; the posting also lists 6+ years for Senior Engineer and 8+ years for Staff Engineer.
- Strong full-stack capabilities across backend services, APIs, databases, and preferably frontend development.
- Experience shipping reliable, customer-facing products.
- Ability to own work end to end from requirements gathering through deployment and iteration.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical decisions to diverse audiences.
- Product thinking and an understanding of why products are being built.
- Experience with workflow engines, orchestration systems, or process automation tools is valued.
- Experience in regulated industries with compliance, auditability, and data integrity requirements is valued.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production applications is valued.
- Experience creating configuration systems, admin tools, or workflow builders for non-technical users is valued.
- Experience designing multi-tenant systems, versioning systems, or complex authorization models is valued.
- Strong foundation in data modeling and distributed systems is valued.
- Comfort learning and applying new technologies in production.
