Base Salary
$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build Starshield security infrastructure, including cryptographic and other security-critical services.
- Develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites.
- Design security into factory processes and provide supporting network services.
- Maintain production systems and improve their security posture through implementation and recommendations.
- Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional security software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with at least one software development language such as Python, C++, or Golang.
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other enterprise or large-scale infrastructure.
- Preferred experience includes contributing security improvements to complex systems and working with trusted platform modules and hardware security modules.
- Preferred understanding of network protocols, including the TCP/IP stack and UDP-based protocols.
- Preferred ability to navigate complex interactive systems, communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, learn new technologies, and handle ambiguity.
- An advanced technical or engineering degree and an active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance are preferred.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $130,000.00-$195,000.00 depending on level and qualifications.
