Responsibilities
- Own the web application platform end-to-end, focusing on front-end architecture, performance, and user experience.
- Lead the design and evolution of front-end systems and frameworks alongside back-end services and APIs.
- Define platform standards for UI architecture, component design, accessibility, performance, and scalability.
- Design and deliver scalable consumer-facing and B2B web applications for high-demand global use cases.
- Balance hands-on development with planning, technical leadership, and team oversight.
- Align technical execution with business and product objectives.
- Guide technical direction, front-end best practices, and engineering standards.
- Act as technical lead for a team of engineers and drive delivery and continuous improvement.
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership.
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Deep experience with React or Next.js and modern front-end architecture patterns.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable front-end platforms and design systems.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including building APIs to support front-end applications.
- Understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Proven experience leading engineers, setting front-end standards, and driving technical direction.
- Strong communication skills and ability to align with cross-functional stakeholders.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, infrastructure as code, large-scale high-performance transactional platforms, Single Page Applications, Node.js, reusable UI components, design systems, micro frontends, and mobile-first responsive interfaces.
