Base Salary
$220k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build applications for reading engineering drawings and models, including high-performance PDF viewers, annotation overlays, and 3D CAD views with PMI.
- Design review workflows that allow users to confirm, correct, or reject agent-generated proposals while recording every edit.
- Build agent-driven interfaces that call user-accessible tools and display their responses within drawings.
- Optimize performance for large documents and models through rendering, streaming, caching, and responsive interfaces with thousands of entities.
- Participate in product discovery with manufacturing engineers and operators to define product improvements.
- Collaborate with ML engineers on agent outputs and how those outputs reach users.
- Own and contribute to the frontend and other parts of the application stack as needed.
Requirements
- Expertise in TypeScript and React, including state management, rendering, and the frontend ecosystem.
- Experience building graphics-heavy applications with Canvas, WebGL, three.js, or similar technologies.
- Strong ability and willingness to build a high-quality codebase.
- Product sense, user empathy, and an AI-native approach to building software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high-stakes, rapid iteration cycles.
- Strong design sense and ability to execute high-quality interfaces with or without design support.
- Preferred experience with CAD/CAM software, 3D environments, document or PDF rendering, WebAssembly, and web workers.
- Preferred experience building interfaces for LLM agents, including chat, tool calls, and human review of model output.
- Comfort working with Node, Python, and SQL as needed.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering drawings, or GD&T is preferred.
