Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing across iPhone and Android platforms.
- Write test cases, test scenarios, automation scripts, and detailed defect reports.
- Execute, maintain, and enhance mobile test automation and improve regression efficiency and coverage.
- Use AI-assisted testing tools for test design, defect analysis, and execution.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, API, performance, data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA teams on test planning, execution, and quality validation.
- Provide testing estimates, progress updates, quality metrics, automation coverage, defect trends, and release quality indicators.
- Support release readiness, automation integration, QA best practices, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable manual and automated tests.
- Become a subject matter expert in the product domain and application workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting or testing enterprise-level software product releases.
- Strong knowledge of software testing best practices, Agile methodologies, and QA processes.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Test Lab, or comparable solutions.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar technologies.
- Expertise with the C#/.NET and/or Java/JVM ecosystems.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, data validation, CI/CD pipelines, automation integration, and cloud-based testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, qTest Manager, Azure DevOps, QA reporting tools, and cloud-based device testing platforms such as Sauce Labs.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, data analysis, communication, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure cloud technologies, Microsoft enterprise platforms, ERP or manufacturing-focused solutions, ASP/VBScript, ASP.NET, MVC, cloud-based automation, scalable test execution environments, AI-driven QA practices, and intelligent testing solutions.
