Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and own scalable and robust ECS and Fargate systems.
- Develop practical software solutions for complex distributed-systems problems.
- Operate a public AWS service, participate in on-call support, and improve operational health.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to guide decisions and validate assumptions.
- Contribute to architecture and technology choices for new features.
- Develop project plans and commitments and deliver consistently against them.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
