Senior Software Engineer - Java, Officer
State StreetResponsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering escalations for the Charles River IMS platform.
- Review and document small-scale design and customization requests.
- Participate in customer interactions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Investigate issues across Java and C# codebases.
- Monitor application and database performance using observability tools.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using AI tools and scripting.
- Collaborate with product, support, and cloud teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through timely support.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of strong Java development experience.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong experience with Java or C# development environments.
- Strong experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Awareness of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work APAC business hours and rotational shifts when required.
