Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Architect scalable, high-performance, secure software solutions and define technical direction.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineering teams.
- Oversee code reviews and adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with product management, project managers, and stakeholders on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Identify process improvements and evaluate technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve development efficiency and product capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert technical guidance.
- Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for software products and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of progressive software development experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
- Expertise designing and developing complex software systems using languages such as C++, Java, Python, or C# and relevant frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
