Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop the Post Trade platform vision and strategy in collaboration with global technology leads.
- Provide technical oversight and direction for platform development and implementation.
- Build and enhance event-based, low-latency applications for Equity Finance and Securities Lending.
- Evaluate complex business and system processes to resolve high-impact problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Ensure application designs align with the overall architecture blueprint and establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Manage regulatory reporting changes with appropriate controls, documentation, approvals, and risk escalation.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess business risk, support compliance with applicable laws and policies, and safeguard the firm, clients, and assets.
- Work with global stakeholders across geographies and time zones while managing changing priorities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development and prior leadership of developers.
- Experience building event-based systems with low-latency trading requirements.
- Experience in Equity Finance or Securities Lending; Prime Services knowledge is a plus.
- Advanced application programming experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Technical skills in Java, Kafka, distributed caching, SQL, and Git.
- Experience with QA, TDD, and BDD practices and building horizontally scalable containerized solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple activities, prioritize effectively, and adjust priorities quickly.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, interpersonal, communication, stakeholder-management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams across geographies and time zones.
- Exposure to AI solutions for accelerating development is desirable.
- React and full-stack development experience is beneficial.
