Base Salary
$148k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications.
- Develop and configure Foundry applications supporting mission workflows, operational decision-making, data integration, and collaboration.
- Translate business, mission, and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and create technical designs and architecture documentation.
- Build responsive web applications and backend services, APIs, web service integrations, and custom visualizations.
- Develop and maintain relational and NoSQL database solutions.
- Perform coding, debugging, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Integrate software across tactical and enterprise environments and support deployment, release management, and sustainment.
- Use Git and configuration management practices for source control and collaboration.
- Prepare technical, design, test, and user-facing documentation.
- Communicate technical information to customers, engineering teams, and program leadership.
- Participate in Agile planning, estimation, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced developers as needed.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- At least 10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and demonstrated production-quality software development experience.
- Experience working independently in a small-team or mission-focused engineering environment and across multiple software development lifecycle phases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain program-specific access requirements when applicable.
- Preferred experience includes Foundry application development, Foundry datasets, APIs, data services, dashboards, ontology-based data models, and user interfaces.
- Professional experience with React and Java, and experience in a Node.js development environment.
- Experience with web services, external-system integrations, custom visualizations, and data-driven user interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational or NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience with Agile or DevSecOps development methodologies and software deployment practices.
- Experience supporting operational, tactical, cybersecurity, intelligence, or defense-related applications.
- Understanding of secure software development and application security principles.
- Experience with containerized applications, cloud platforms, automated testing, or infrastructure-as-code is a plus.
