Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of core business applications, workflows, data structures, and integrations to troubleshoot system issues.
- Provide third-level functional and technical support for core business applications.
- Gather requirements, design, code, deploy, and maintain minor features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Plan and perform regression testing after server updates, security patches, and system changes.
- Perform quality assurance activities throughout the software lifecycle.
- Guide business users through User Acceptance Testing, including test setup, feature explanations, and feedback collection.
- Translate technical system behavior into clear guidance for non-technical users and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, system architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, and other technical documentation.
- Prioritize business needs and propose and implement corporate software solutions across company departments.
Requirements
- Technical degree, advanced bachelor's student status, or equivalent proven work experience in information technology, systems analysis, software programming, or software engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in application support, maintenance, software design, development, integration, or software testing.
- Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL, programming fundamentals, databases, data structures, and queries.
- Knowledge of Python, Influx, or big data technologies is an asset.
- Knowledge of Git and GitLab, including code management and repository best practices.
- Experience using AI tools to research and process large volumes of information or legacy code and validate suggested solutions.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience tailoring Confluence and Jira to specific needs and building testing environments is valued.
- Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.
- Strong communication, initiative, adaptability, continuous-learning ability, and interest in aerospace are valued.
