Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and operation of core data platform components.
- Build tools and services that help engineering teams adopt and scale data systems.
- Automate infrastructure and operations to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Apply GenAI techniques to create smarter developer and operator experiences.
- Collaborate across engineering teams on scalability and reliability challenges.
- Own projects and deliver features end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
- Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language; school, personal, or work experience counts.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, clean code, testing, and debugging.
- Interest in learning AWS, Databricks, databases, streaming, orchestration, and related technologies.
- Curiosity, problem-solving ability, willingness to ask questions, independence, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Nice-to-have experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, or large-scale data-intensive systems.
