Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify product stakeholders.
- Review technical requirements, identify design issues, and create technical component designs and documentation.
- Implement code using coding patterns, best practices, coding standards, and security requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and take ownership of data products or pipeline components.
- Conduct unit testing, participate in user acceptance testing, and perform security scans.
- Build automation tools and processes for transforming, managing, accessing, deploying, and monitoring data processes.
- Create queries to extract and compile raw data, implement orchestration techniques, and validate data quality.
- Ensure adherence to data management, governance, performance monitoring, and security protocols.
- Create troubleshooting guidance and resolve issues identified through testing.
- Address routine technical client requests and support software upgrades and server patches for security remediation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and define technical solutions.
- Experience designing and documenting technical components for data products or pipelines.
- Experience implementing code and applying coding standards and security requirements.
- Experience conducting unit testing and participating in user acceptance testing.
- Experience building automation tools for data processes.
- Experience creating queries and implementing data extraction and transformation techniques.
- Experience ensuring data quality and performance monitoring.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving pipeline issues.
- Experience supporting software upgrades and security remediation.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or more than 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree such as a master’s, MBA, JD, or MD.
- Preferred: Experience presenting technical solutions, applying industry knowledge to innovation, participating in code reviews, mentoring peers, and addressing technical client requests.
