Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain moderately complex software using front-end and/or back-end programming languages across multiple platforms.
- Design program specifications, analyze and modify code, perform unit testing and validation, resolve defects, and maintain application documentation.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams and participate in client-facing, joint venture, and vendor partnership discussions.
- Support the design and enforcement of application standards, controls, procedures, monitoring, and PCI security compliance.
- Provide resource estimates, assist with engineer training, guide other software engineers, and provide production support as needed.
- Validate legacy-output parity, reconcile discrepancies, document assumptions, engineer features, validate models, and create data visualizations and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field, or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Typically at least 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more front-end or back-end languages and moderate understanding of the corresponding technology area.
- Experience with two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred experience of 6–8 years in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of relational databases, BigQuery SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and Python.
- Ability to use AI tools while maintaining accuracy and controls, assess model robustness, work with fragmented data, and communicate analytical findings clearly.
- Ability to work independently on problems of diverse scope and provide guidance to other engineers.
