Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable software platforms, applications, data solutions, models, and analytics supporting Finance, Risk, Compliance, Controllers, Treasury, and other Core functions.
- Understand business needs and develop process workflows, data requirements, technical specifications, designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans.
- Define and govern scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architecture, including cloud security, compliance, and cost control.
- Manage the end-to-end systems development lifecycle from requirements analysis through coding, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Modernize and consolidate software stacks while increasing automation and addressing data quality, warehousing, and analytics challenges.
- Leverage AI tools such as Devin and Claude to improve development efficiency and innovation.
- Drive program execution, manage risks and dependencies, and align technology with business leaders and strategic goals.
- Build relationships with business partners and collaborate in a global team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience, including data structures, algorithms, software design, core programming concepts, and continuous delivery and deployment.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and system design.
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS services preferred.
- Strong programming experience in at least one compiled language, such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Full-stack experience with industry-standard frameworks and tools, such as React, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, Maven, and web or RESTful service development.
- Knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design.
- Exposure to AI/ML tools and modern engineering practices preferred.
- Experience managing small- to mid-size teams preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
