Responsibilities
- Ship new product features with engineering peers and the product team.
- Maintain and improve existing systems.
- Solve complex engineering problems supporting customers’ scientific workflows.
- Contribute to technical excellence through hands-on software delivery and system design.
- Provide project leadership and mentor other engineers.
- Identify problems and independently determine effective implementation approaches.
Requirements
- Deep backend and system design experience, including building systems at scale.
- Strong judgment and commitment to code quality while remaining adaptable to changing requirements.
- Interest in AI tools and a considered perspective on effective AI product experiences.
- Ability to take ownership, solve difficult problems independently, and communicate proactively in writing.
- Ability to mentor and empower other engineers.
- Strong communication, adaptability, ambition, and ownership.
