Responsibilities
- Improve CoStar’s cloud-based machine learning environment.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and optimize scalable, reusable, and maintainable machine learning models for large datasets.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, leadership, and business stakeholders to create ML solutions that improve customer experience.
- Develop an understanding of the CoStar business and apply machine learning to practical problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.
- 5+ years of professional development experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a related role.
- 3+ years of programming experience with Python.
- Experience with recommendation systems and preferably computer vision.
- Strong foundations in supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with ML cloud tools such as Databricks, Amazon Personalize, or SageMaker.
- Experience with SQL-based relational databases such as AWS RDS or document-based databases such as DynamoDB.
- Experience solving streaming and batch data processing problems at scale.
- Experience building, deploying, and optimizing ML models.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
