Responsibilities
- Lead developers and the product, design, and engineering squad in ideating, refining, and building minimum viable features.
- Make technical tradeoffs that accelerate learning from experiments while maintaining core system stability.
- Implement feature tracking and analytics and partner with product managers and analysts to evaluate experiments and user behavior.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and data integrity by addressing root causes and reducing system complexity.
- Establish engineering practices through code reviews, testing, and consistent technical standards.
- Mentor developers through feedback and technical guidance.
- Use modern tools, including AI, responsibly to reduce friction and improve delivery.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into lightweight, testable technical solutions.
- Comfort working in large, evolving codebases and improving existing systems.
- Sound technical judgment balancing speed, quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Clear communication and effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring developers or leading technical discussions within a team.
