Responsibilities
- Deliver customized and configured solutions on Autodesk products for AEC and Manufacturing customers.
- Develop customer solutions based on user stories provided by the consulting team.
- Support solution development, acceptance testing, deployment packaging, delivery, and user support.
- Interpret solution architecture and create detailed solution designs, implementation plans, documentation, and estimates.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Autodesk product APIs, Autodesk Platform Services, SDKs, and extensibility frameworks.
- Develop custom integrations for Autodesk Vault Professional, Inventor, Fusion Manage, and Autodesk Platform Services.
- Contribute to Autodesk intellectual property, reusable frameworks, solution reviews, engineering practices, and sales collateral.
- Create documentation for developed solutions, including API reference and design documentation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve development speed, code quality, and customer delivery.
- Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and mentor team members where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in web and cloud technologies.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, object-oriented programming, and modern backend frameworks.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React; Angular may be considered.
- Experience with Entity Framework, database schema design, SQL Server queries, and NoSQL, SQL Server, or graph databases.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Autodesk Forge or Autodesk Platform Services APIs, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs or Web APIs and integrating enterprise systems using OAuth 2.0, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms.
- Experience with software integration, solution estimation techniques, documentation, API references, design documentation, and UML.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault Professional, Vault SDK/API customization, or Vault integrations is highly desirable.
- Experience with Node.js is an advantage.
- Familiarity with generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, or LLM-based application development is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira and Kanban.
- Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
