Responsibilities
- Build data ownership, lineage, quality monitoring, data contracts, and traceability systems for risk decisions.
- Design and implement continuous monitoring for control effectiveness, including trigger validation, drift detection, false positive/negative detection, coverage analysis, and control health scoring.
- Create audit trail infrastructure, change-history tracking, and explainability tooling for regulatory evidence generation.
- Design scalable, high-throughput solutions that support multiple risk domains.
- Integrate governance and assurance capabilities into the Risk API platform and collaborate on shared data contracts, data models, and integration patterns.
Requirements
- Proven experience building high-throughput, data-intensive backend systems in any programming language.
- Hands-on expertise with Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases, including designing for scale and reliability.
- Experience with data quality frameworks, pipeline orchestration, or lineage tracking.
- Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, identify failure modes, and design robust, operationally simple solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously from high-level objectives and drive delivery end to end.
- Ability to collaborate across the Risk API, Product, and Financial Crime teams.
