Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop the DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes product.
- Create back-end gRPC services in Go deployed on Kubernetes.
- Design back-end services and author engineering design documents.
- Lead projects independently and raise the bar for Operational Excellence.
- Navigate and operate complex distributed systems in production.
- Break design documents into actionable epics and stories with estimates.
- Run experiments to optimize user experience and increase DOKS adoption.
- Contribute to and maintain open-source projects.
- Engage with customers to understand their product needs.
- Participate in discussions on architecture and design patterns.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes internals and Go.
- Experience operating Kubernetes platforms at scale.
- Ability to drive complex projects from inception to completion.
