Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites in Playwright using maintainable design patterns.
- Drive end-to-end quality across UI and API testing, including API validation and regression coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so coverage runs continuously on pull requests.
- Partner with architects, developers, product managers, delivery leadership, stakeholders, partners, and Staff QA Automation Developers to define acceptance criteria and prioritize coverage.
- Create test plans from product and design specifications and support User Acceptance Testing for key integrations.
- Review and execute manual test cases, validate features against test plans, and convert appropriate scenarios into automated regression coverage.
- Improve quality processes, documentation, workflows, and repeatable team practices while sharing effective AI-assisted testing approaches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud applications, with strong understanding of the full SDLC and Quality Engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on test automation framework experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar, including end-to-end test suites.
- Strong TypeScript and/or Go experience.
- Automation-first experience covering UI and API layers and integrating reliable testing into CI/CD.
- Experience with scalable test architecture patterns such as Page Object Model, data factories, and separation of concerns.
- Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases is preferred.
- Experience with API validation tools such as Postman is preferred.
- Familiarity with test management platforms such as Allure TestOps is preferred.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, banking, insurance, or other financial-services environments is preferred.
- Ability to shape quality strategy, communicate test gaps in business terms, and work effectively with product and delivery stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents or applications that improve testing speed is a plus.
