Responsibilities
- Design and build Spring Boot microservices using Java.
- Integrate services with databases, message brokers, and APIs.
- Own API design, performance, reliability, and scalable service delivery across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Act as the platform-wide technical leader for Java engineering by setting standards and reviewing designs.
- Coach engineers across teams.
- Handle small- to medium-complexity work in React front-end, DevSecOps, and test automation.
Requirements
- 12 years of professional experience.
- Expert-level Java fundamentals; Java 17 or newer is desirable.
- Strong Spring Boot microservices experience.
- Experience with SQL, JPA/Hibernate, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, API design, messaging, and performance tuning.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud delivery.
- AWS and Terraform are good-to-have qualifications.
- Ability to independently deliver small- to medium-complexity work in React front-end, DevSecOps, and test automation.
