Responsibilities
- Automate, provision, and manage public and on-premises cloud infrastructure, including containerized and virtualized systems.
- Plan, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for complex distributed systems across a global network of data centers.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to automate deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and support product initiatives.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, and Chef.
- Drive observability and reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Develop hands-on automation solutions in Go.
- Align DevOps initiatives with business objectives including uptime, deployment velocity, and cost efficiency.
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps roles, including at least two years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Strong Linux systems administration experience.
- Deep familiarity with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with container orchestration and tooling including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker Compose.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, and Chef.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Programming and scripting proficiency in Bash, Go, Python, and Ruby.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with Product, Development, and Operations teams.
- Demonstrated ownership, prioritization, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Ability to follow security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected security breaches, and complete mandatory security training.
