Base Salary
$190k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the development and evolution of PermitFlow's React component library.
- Build and maintain components across all levels of the Atomic Design hierarchy.
- Define and enforce component standards including API contracts and design token usage.
- Review pull requests to maintain quality and consistency in the component library.
- Partner with designers to translate design specs into production-grade components.
- Manage the library's roadmap, balancing new development with migration work.
- Work with Chromatic for visual regression testing and manage the Storybook instance.
- Lead the Design Systems Guild to align on patterns and review proposals.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in React and TypeScript.
- Experience building and maintaining a production design system or component library.
- A sharp eye for visual and interaction design.
- Experience collaborating closely with product designers.
- Familiarity with design tooling like Figma and developer experience tooling.
- Strong written communication skills for setting standards and documenting decisions.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.
