$184k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact initiatives across Braze’s Decisioning Studio and AI Decisioning product tiers.
- Build full-stack experiences spanning dashboard UI, data models, APIs, background jobs, and services connected to ML pipelines.
- Lead web application architecture efforts focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and ML Engineering to turn the AI product roadmap into reliable, intuitive software.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap through technical insights and user-experience innovation.
- Mentor engineers, guide technical development, and foster a high-performance engineering culture.
- Support teams implementing Braze’s AI solutions to facilitate customer success and collaboration.
Requirements
- Have 7+ years of relevant experience with a strong record of delivering impact.
- Work comfortably across the full stack and own product surfaces end to end.
- Be a strong frontend developer with TypeScript and React; Vue experience is a plus.
- Have experience designing and maintaining scalable web application architectures.
- Use AI coding agents as a default workflow and build reusable skills and automation that improve team velocity.
- Write clear design documents and technical proposals and communicate complex systems effectively.
- Demonstrate a user-centric approach and commitment to exceptional user experiences.
- Write elegant, maintainable code and promote a culture of quality.
- Navigate large codebases with multiple stakeholders and drive consensus on technical decisions.
- Have experience mentoring engineers and contributing to their technical development.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with machine-learning or data-intensive user experiences; LLM and agentic systems, including embeddings, agent orchestration, and evaluation; and Python or Ruby on Rails.
