Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure, reliable, scalable solutions for globally distributed customer-facing authentication products.
  • Develop Java microservices, full-stack user interfaces, APIs, and supporting services.
  • Architect service interactions, dependencies, policies, and new product or service offerings.
  • Write interfaces, unit or acceptance tests, and architecture fitness functions in a hands-on engineering role.
  • Drive prioritization, technical trade-offs, automation, operational testing, and end-to-end service ownership.
  • Improve performance, scalability, availability, extensibility, supportability, and usability across services.
  • Mentor engineers, promote technical excellence, consult across teams, and conduct technical interviews.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing solutions and developing full-stack applications for large enterprise technology platforms.
  • Experience coding Java microservices and building UI/UX with technologies such as React, Angular, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with relational databases, Oracle, event-driven architecture, and modern application development practices.
  • Experience deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of application security concepts including encryption/decryption, PKI, hashing, JWTs, DPoP, zero trust principles, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Experience addressing non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability, extensibility, supportability, and usability.
  • Ability to coach teams, explain complex architecture and trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders, and work across competing priorities.
  • Experience with automation, chaos and operational testing, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
