Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and support secure, scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Manage infrastructure across multiple software products and customer environments.
- Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, resilience, and cost efficiency of production SaaS applications.
- Implement vulnerability management, access controls, compliance practices, and other infrastructure security measures.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools.
- Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives in collaboration with software engineering teams.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Evaluate and implement infrastructure technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Participate in on-call support and production incident response as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience supporting production SaaS environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Azure or AWS certifications are preferred.
- Experience with GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, cybersecurity, compliance, monitoring platforms, and customer-facing software platforms is preferred.
