Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance shared Azure platform services across product families.
- Author reusable Terraform modules, manage state and workspaces, review plans, and safely promote infrastructure changes across environments.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, application deployments, and Databricks assets.
- Onboard engineering and product teams to platform services, review designs, troubleshoot integration issues, and document self-service patterns.
- Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF, Traffic Manager, networking, private endpoints, and multi-region routing.
- Manage Entra ID, Azure AD B2C, OAuth 2.0/OIDC flows, SSO policies, service principals, managed identities, and RBAC.
- Operate Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus through Terraform and deployment pipelines.
- Support Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, model-serving workloads, AI guardrails, content safety, and private model/data networking.
- Automate security, compliance, cost, resource-usage, and deployment controls while monitoring and improving reliability.
- Establish reliability KPIs and targets, participate in the agile process, and keep sprint and work details current.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure App Service, Azure Function Apps, Azure Container Apps, deployment slots, scaling, VNet integration, and configuration management.
- Experience with Application Gateway, WAF, Traffic Manager, VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, hub-and-spoke architecture, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS.
- Experience managing Azure Service Bus namespaces, queues, topics, subscriptions, filters, rules, and access policies.
- Experience configuring Azure API Management, authoring policies, and managing products, subscriptions, named values, versions, and revisions through code.
- Experience with Entra ID, app registrations, API permissions, service principals, managed identities, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, token and claims configuration, and Azure RBAC.
- Hands-on Azure AD B2C experience, including custom XML policies, Identity Experience Framework, and SAML/OIDC federation.
- Experience with Azure Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Strong Terraform experience, including reusable modules, remote state, workspaces, provider pinning, plan/apply review, imports, drift remediation, and infrastructure managed as code.
- Strong Azure DevOps CI/CD experience with YAML or classic pipelines, multi-stage deployments, environments, approvals, service connections, and secret management.
- Strong PowerShell and/or Bash scripting skills, fluent Azure CLI usage, and solid Git practices including branching, pull requests, and code review.
- Experience managing and optimizing infrastructure and CI/CD for an Azure-based SaaS product at scale.
- Understanding of security principles, least privilege, secrets management, network isolation, certificate lifecycle, and compliance controls.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, strong communication and analytical skills, and experience driving measurable reliability improvements.
- Experience working in an agile SDLC and delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Databricks administration, Unity Catalog, Databricks Asset Bundles, Databricks Terraform provider, MLOps, Azure Data Factory, B2C custom policy XML, Docker, monitoring/security tools, Azure certifications, or familiarity with C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/React.
