Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems using Ruby, Scala, and Go.
- Develop, test, and deploy software infrastructure.
- Engineer payments integration with various financial partners.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements for feasibility.
- Collaborate with engineers to build new features at large-scale.
- Build systems to securely store sensitive data.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of Software Engineering experience.
- Experience with Ruby, React, Typescript, and AWS.
- Experience implementing industry standard design patterns.
- Experience building full-stack web applications at scale.
- Experience designing backend systems for performance and latency.
- Experience with database management in MongoDB.
- Experience using SQL, Presto, and related query languages.
- Experience designing intuitive APIs for users.
- 1 year of experience testing and building reliable systems for payment processing.
