Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents and intelligent systems for cloud-based architectures.
- Develop agent-driven workflows with business stakeholders to automate complex processes and generate actionable insights.
- Contribute to agent orchestration, prompt engineering, real-time data automation, and evaluation frameworks.
- Apply engineering best practices for automated testing, code quality, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
- Manage technical debt and improve AI platforms and infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI agents to increase business value and operational efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions and make decisions aligned with business objectives and fiscal responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of professional development experience in an object-oriented language, with Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred.
- Hands-on production experience building LLM-powered or agent-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures using AWS or Azure, containerized microservices, and agent frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
- Preferred experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, MCP servers, agent orchestration frameworks, prompt evaluation and iteration, model benchmarking, and performance testing.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Kiro, and OpenAI Codex.
- Experience in asset management, financial markets, or quantitative research environments and knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and datasets are preferred.
