Base Salary
$135k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own complex features end-to-end, structuring work into small, shippable increments.
- Write production-ready code and define testing approaches based on risk.
- Respond quickly to production issues and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Utilize AI tools for code generation, debugging, and task decomposition.
- Provide actionable code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Identify and improve recurring friction points in code and processes.
- Create clear documentation to enhance team clarity and communication.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on customer-facing SaaS products.
- Ability to break ambiguous work into deliverable increments and drive it forward independently.
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.
- Deep understanding of scalable web architecture, API design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in designing and writing various types of tests.
- Familiarity with safe deployment patterns including feature flags.
- Active use of AI tools in software development workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
