Base Salary
$99k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, health monitoring and alerting, and implementation for assigned systems.
- Define technical requirements and complete end-to-end engineering tasks of intermediate complexity.
- Analyze, assess, resolve, and appropriately escalate defects and incidents.
- Work independently on well-scoped problems within team guidelines and contribute to technical tradeoff discussions.
- Apply test design strategies, test automation, debugging, source control, monitoring, and cloud technologies.
- Document work clearly, collaborate with team members, clarify requirements, and identify opportunities for technical and personal growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Three years of programming/development experience, including the additional software engineering experience specified in the posting.
- Two years of experience in an Agile delivery model.
- Experience with the MERN or a similar stack and hands-on JavaScript experience.
- Knowledge of test design strategies, test automation tools, CI/CD processes incorporating test automation, and source control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of real-time and batch data processing, microservices architecture, containerization, public cloud, monitoring and alerting, encryption/decryption, and cloud cost and performance optimization.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, ServiceNow FSO, and Confluent/Apache Kafka.
- Strong intermediate delivery, domain expertise, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
