Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards, test plans, test cases, test cycles, and best practices.
- Lead and oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, manual, automated, and exploratory testing.
- Review test cases, scripts, and results; track defects; validate fixes; and confirm release readiness.
- Drive test automation strategy and adoption while selecting and maintaining QA tools and frameworks.
- Serve as the primary QA point of contact and communicate QA status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify quality risks, propose mitigation plans, and support audits, documentation, compliance, and process assessments.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience in testing and QA.
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior QA role.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of coding and SQL, plus understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architecture.
- Ability to work across different time zones and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: knowledge of Jira, other Atlassian tools, AWS, Agile methodology, and generative AI tools for testing.
