Responsibilities
- Own collaboration features from specification through production.
- Build shared APIs and reusable building blocks for collaboration and access control.
- Own and scale an authorization service handling tens of millions of access checks daily.
- Design data models and migrations that maintain performance, correctness, patient privacy, and data integrity.
- Develop across the stack using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Partner with technical leads, product managers, and designers to turn clinical workflows into usable features.
- Shape technical decisions and take ownership of larger system components over time.
- Lead the effective use of AI tooling within the engineering team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building production software in Python, TypeScript, or both.
- Experience owning feature delivery from specification through production.
- Solid grounding in APIs and data modeling, with depth in at least one area and the ability to become productive in others.
- Comfort adapting to shifting priorities and moving between frontend and backend work.
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs, including when patient data requires additional caution.
- Product mindset focused on improving clinicians’ ability to deliver care.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar tools and domains independently and help teammates use AI tools effectively.
