Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, use cases, integrations, technical strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of internal SaaS platforms.
- Engineer away recurring support requests through automation, workflow redesign, self-service tooling, and AI agents.
- Build and maintain production automation and services in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript using version control and code review.
- Design and automate onboarding, offboarding, and role-change workflows using APIs, webhooks, SCIM, IAM tooling, Okta, SSO, and Workato.
- Lead platform lifecycle management, including tool assessment, pilots, rollouts, integrations, configuration governance, and deprecation.
- Define build-versus-buy and SaaS licensing strategies using usage data and cost governance.
- Drive enterprise AI tooling adoption and build agentic automation for support and business workflows in partnership with Security.
- Act as the escalation point for complex platform issues while eliminating the root causes of repeated escalations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience across software engineering, systems engineering, or platform engineering, including substantial enterprise or SaaS automation and integration work.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience owning production automations or services.
- Demonstrated success permanently eliminating categories of manual work or support requests at scale.
- Hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms through APIs, webhooks, event-driven patterns, SSO, SCIM, and Okta or similar systems.
- Ability to take architectural ownership of unfamiliar platforms and understand their purposes, use cases, data flows, and integration points.
- Strong systems thinking across interconnected application ecosystems.
- Ability to partner with IT, Software, Operations/Services, Security, and senior leadership.
- Preferred experience with Google Workspace, Slack, FireHydrant, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, Atlassian tools, or Workato.
- Preferred experience building LLM-powered or agentic automation using Claude, MCP, or agent frameworks.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, GCP, SaaS license management, usage analytics, cost governance, reusable automation frameworks, and self-service tooling.
