Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic direction of generative AI and applied AI initiatives.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI prototypes and production-ready solutions.
- Apply LLMs to code generation, content creation, intelligent search, data synthesis, and conversational applications.
- Evaluate emerging AI models, tools, platforms, research, and Salesforce product capabilities.
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define and integrate AI solutions.
- Provide subject-matter expertise, mentorship, and guidance on AI best practices and ethical considerations.
- Monitor and optimize deployed AI models for scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Design, integrate, or use autonomous AI coding agents and developer platforms to improve software development and workflow automation.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of programming and architectural experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks.
- Knowledge of machine learning models, deep learning architectures, natural language processing, and generative models.
- Understanding of AWS, MLOps principles, cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, and network security.
- Practical experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, text generation, summarization, code generation, and conversational AI.
- Experience reading AI research and applying new concepts to practical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with autonomous AI coding agents and developer platforms such as Salesforce Agentforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce Apex, Agentforce, and Data Cloud.
- Preferred leadership or mentorship experience within an engineering development team.
- Preferred familiarity with enterprise data governance, security, and privacy practices.
