Responsibilities
- Design and build future-proof solutions while considering system-wide impact.
- Develop features from conception through implementation, testing, and deployment in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Gather and refine requirements, estimate and plan work, and manage progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Work with technical support to identify, reproduce, and remediate bug tickets.
- Build and deliver features using agentic tooling, including custom skills, agents, and harnesses.
- Improve prompts, skills, workflows, evals, guardrails, and review practices for the AI-enabled developer experience.
- Release software in a timely manner and perform other duties required by management.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related qualification, or commercial experience developing in C#, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- At least 3 years of hands-on commercial experience developing on the .NET platform using C# and ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with design patterns, refactoring, object-oriented design, Web API, database design and development, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic engineering workflows, with willingness to work primarily through agents while owning architecture, review, and quality.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and source control tools such as TFS, SVN, or Git.
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience includes Azure Functions and queues, custom agent skills, harnesses, MCP servers, prompt libraries, AI code evaluation and guardrail practices, testing methodologies, Lean software development, CI/CD systems, Bootstrap, .NET Core, Entity Framework Code First migrations, Claude or Claude Code, and financial services.
